When’s the last time you heard something inspirational about women in Afghanistan?

SKATEISTAN is Afghanistan’s first co-ed skateboard school in Kabul.  There’s a documentary in the works about the organization.  Skateboarding, in its truest form, is revolutionary.  To this day skateboarders continually redefine the urban enviromment, playfully transforming public/private spaces into playgrounds, with relatively minimal equipment.
